Viswanathan Anand alias Vishy is an Indian chess player, and has also become an international Grandmaster and former world chess champion.Vishy was born on May 11, 1969 in Mayiladuthurai of Tamil Nadu. And shortly after his birth, his childhood came as his family went to Madras. His father's name was Viswanathan Aiyar, who retired as general manager of the Southern Railway, his education in Jamalpur in Bihar and his mother's name was Sushila Ghuni and Chess Coach and effective social reformer. Anand learned chess from his mother and his close relative Deepa Ramakrishnan at the age of six. Viswanathan anand wife name Aruna Anand.


Viswanathan Anand was the world champion of the Indian chess game. He became the champion of Chess National Sub-Junior in 1983, at the age of his 14th. And then in 1984, Anand won the Asian Junior Chess Championship at Coimbatore and became an international chess player, he won the Asian Junior Championship in Hong Kong for the second year in 1985, and at the age of fifteen, he became the youngest Indian to win the International Master title. And at the age of sixteen he became the champion of the national chess game. He has won this title twice. And at the age of eighteen, Viswanathan anand awards was honored with Padma Shri.
